Day 1 :
Osaka

Greetings in Osaka, Japan! After arriving at Kansai Airport, proceed through customs and immigration, and then board the transfer to your accommodation.

After breakfast, we embark on a journey to the historic city of Hiroshima, which suffered significant destruction from the first atomic bomb on August 6, 1945, gaining worldwide recognition for this tragic event. On the way, we take a stop in Himeji to visit the remarkable Himeji Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site registered in 1993. Enjoy your time exploring Himeji Castle before continuing our trip to Hiroshima.

Day 3 :
Hiroshima

Today’s itinerary starts with a visit to Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima. This shrine is renowned for its unique torii gate and buildings constructed over water, creating an illusion of floating during high tide. The complex includes a prayer hall, main hall, and a noh theatre stage connected by boardwalks and supported by pillars above the sea.

Following that, we will proceed to the Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Museum, which serve as poignant reminders of the devastating impact of the atomic bomb used during World War II. These sites are dedicated to commemorating the victims and educating visitors about the tragic events that unfolded in Hiroshima.

This morning, we say goodbye to Hiroshima and start our return journey to Osaka. Taking the coastal road along the Seto Inland Sea, we will make a stop at the historic city of Kurashiki. Kurashiki is famous for its beautifully preserved canal area that dates back to the Edo Period.

After enjoying our time in Kurashiki, we will continue our journey back to Osaka, covering approximately 200 kilometers, which should take around 3 to 4 hours.

Today’s adventure takes us on a day trip to Nara. Upon arrival, the main attractions are just a short walk away. We will first visit Todaiji Temple, famous for its Great Hall, which houses one of the world’s largest bronze Buddha statues.

Next, we’ll explore Nara Deer Park, where around 1,200 deer freely roam. These deer have become a symbol of the city, rooted in the Shinto belief that all creatures are messengers of the gods. Here, you can feed the deer with crackers and indulge in local foods, along with adorable deer-themed souvenirs and activities related to Nara’s rich history.

After an enchanting time in Nara, we’ll continue our journey to Kyoto, a city frozen in time with its narrow laneways adorned with tea houses, izakayas, and geisha gracefully disappearing down the alleys. Upon arrival in Kyoto, we’ll make our way to the iconic Togetsu Bridge in the Arashiyama District, a landmark that has stood for centuries. Prepare to be enchanted by the surreal and otherworldly beauty of the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, as you stroll along wooden paths weaving through dense thickets of tall bamboo stalks. Find a peaceful corner to listen to the gentle rustling, creaking, and swaying of the bamboo trunks, creating a serene and unique sound like nothing else.

After breakfast, our first stop is Nijo Castle, where you can immerse yourself in the historical ambiance of the former residence of the Tokugawa Shogunate.

Later, we’ll be awestruck by the beauty of Kinkakuji, also known as the Golden Pavilion, a Zen temple designated as a World Heritage site. Its two upper floors are entirely covered in thin layers of pure gold, and the architecture combines three distinct styles – Shinden, Samurai, and Zen.

Following a delightful lunch, our journey continues to Mt. Fuji aboard the renowned Shinkansen bullet train. As the train reaches speeds of up to 320 kilometers per hour, you’ll witness flashes of futuristic skyscrapers, serene shrines, and lush fields passing by, making the journey exhilarating.

Finally, we’ll be treated to the grandeur of Mt. Fuji, majestically shrouded in clouds. This awe-inspiring sight will create a serene and unforgettable moment, where time seemingly stands still in the presence of nature’s beauty.

Day 7 :
Mt. Fuji

Afterward, we will ascend Mt. Fuji to the fifth station, nestled above the clouds. Depending on the weather, you might have the opportunity to capture the iconic mountain in all its breathtaking glory. However, in case the weather doesn’t permit, we have exciting alternatives.

One option is to visit Gotemba Peace Park or Hakone Checkpoint, both known for their awe-inspiring vistas of nature’s soaring, snow-capped beauty, ensuring a memorable experience.

Later, immerse yourself in the mesmerizing beauty of Oshino Hakkai, also known as the Springs of Mt. Fuji. This enchanting location features eight crystal-clear ponds fed by melting snow flowing down the slopes of Mt. Fuji, cherished and revered by the locals for its pristine spring water.

Today’s adventure begins with a delightful cruise of Lake Ashi, a scenic lake formed in the caldera of Mt. Hakone after the volcano’s eruption more than 3,000 years ago. Take in the abundant natural beauty surrounding the lake, creating a serene and unforgettable experience.

Next, we’ll head to Tokyo, the bustling capital city of Japan. Upon arrival, we’ll visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observatories, also known as the Tokyo City View. These observation decks, located on the 45th floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku, offer stunning panoramic views of the city. From a height of 243 meters, you’ll be treated to breathtaking vistas of Tokyo’s dynamic cityscape.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Take this opportunity to explore Tokyo’s vibrant neighborhoods, indulge in delicious cuisine, discover hidden gems, or simply relax and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this incredible metropolis. As your journey comes to an end, you will be transferred to the airport for your homebound flight at the appropriate time.
